Algebraic Number Fields¶

• A crash when applying an isomorphism of number fields has been fixed. Reported by Sachi Hashimoto.

Commutative Algebra¶

• An incorrect result in PrimaryDecomposition for multivariate ideals in very small characteristic has been fixed. Reported by Yongyuan Huang.
• A hang in the La Scala free resolution algorithm applied to a certain large graded module has been fixed. Reported by George Kirkup.

Hyperelliptic Curves¶

• The IsIsomorphic function has been fixed to correctly handle degenerate cases of hyperelliptic curves (genus 0 and genus 1). Reported by Sachi Hashimoto.

Polynomial Rings¶

• An error has been fixed which would cause the incorrect decoding of the Magma-level printing for B.1 where B is a boolean polynomial ring with between 5 and 32 variables (inclusive).

Quaternion Algebras¶

• The functions IsIsomorphic and IsMatrixRing are now supported for quaternion algebras defined over finite fields.

Rational Curves and Conics¶

• An IsIsomorphic function has been added to check whether two conic curves are isomorphic, and to return the corresponding isomorphism.

Strings¶

• Grammar has been fixed for error messages when a string does not represent a number in a given base. Reported by David Roe.
