$p$-adic Rings and their extensions

  • Error checking of input to Exp has been improved. Reported by C. Fieker.

Algebraic Function Fields

  • A fix has been made to ClassNumber of a function fields to avoid division by zero. Reported by A. Etropolski.
  • The degree of the different divisor has been fixed for fields having more than 2 relative extensions in their representation. Reported by C. Quitte.

Cohomology

  • A crash in CohomologyGroup over non-standard rings has been fixed. Reported by D. Gvirtz.

Groebner Bases

  • A hang in the modular algorithm for certain GB computations over the rational field has been fixed. Reported by M. Stoll.
  • An incorrect error message when computing GBs of ideals over GF(2) with field polynomials has been fixed. Reported by A. Sutherland.

Jacobi Motives

L-series

  • The Coefficient intrinsic for the 1st coefficient always returned 1, even when given a list or coefficient function for which it was nonzero.

Matrix Algebras

  • A crash in zero quotient algebras for matrices has been fixed.

Number Fields

  • A crash involving the lack of a pre-computed basis for ideals when determining a generator with IsPrincipal has been fixed. Reported by M. Kida.
  • A bug with computing PicardGroup of orders has been fixed. Reported by S. Marseglia and fixed by J. Klüners.

Representation Theory

  • Problems with accessing the database of characteristic zero irreducible modules have been fixed. Reported by G. Havas.

System

  • The Sleep intrinsic no longer prints an empty sequence. Reported by N. Bruin.
  • Listing a signature from the CompTree package no longer sets the "Lattice" verbose flag. Reported by N. Bruin.
