Algebraic Function Fields

  • A crash in NormEquation for function fields has been fixed. Reported by P. Koprowski who also suggested a fix.

Algebraic Geometry

  • A bad slowdown in JacobianMatrix (arising out the function IsSingular) for certain types of schemes has been fixed. Reported by J. Jahnel.

Algebras

  • A blowup in time caused in the construction of many algebras with involution has been fixed. Reported by E. O'Brien.

Arithmetic Geometry

  • A bug in the Tuitman algorithm for computing zeta functions has been fixed, together with an improvement for certain types of inputs.

Group Theory

  • A bug in the normal closure operator for pc-groups has been fixed (it was possible for the operator to return a proper subgroup of the normal closure). Bug reported by D. Roe as an incorrect Kernel of a character.
