Algebraic Geometry

  • An internal bug that caused crashes in IsHyperelliptic and Parametrize has been fixed.
  • Magma level printing of schemes whose Ideal is known has been fixed. Reported by E. O'Brien.

Algebras

  • A crash in creation of representation matricies of elements of orders of matrix (sub)algebras has been fixed. Reported by M. Kirschmer.

Commutative Algebra

  • An incorrect result for IsPrime applied to positive-dimensional ideals has been fixed.

Elliptic Curves

  • An error in counting points over finite fields, that sometimes returned the number of points on the quadratic twist, has been fixed. Reported by both M. Naehrig and D. Hankerson.

Finite Fields

  • A crash in enumeration over large finite fields has been fixed. Reported by H. Hubrechts.

Finite Geometry

Function Fields

  • Fix coercion of divisors represented as a linear combination of places and exponents.
  • Improve input checking for Roots given a polynomial and a divisor to be more flexible.
  • Improve checks for selection of random elements in some constant fields when computing 2-element representation of ideals.

Groups

  • The function MaximalSubgroups, when applied to $PSp(4,4):4$, returned one class that was not maximal. This class has been eliminated.
  • A bug in the construction of centralisers of elements of a general linear group over a finite field has been fixed. Bug reported by Mike Newman.
  • A bug in the construction of centralisers of subgroups of PC-groups has been fixed.

Linear Codes

Modules

  • A missing test in coercion of maps into homomorphism spaces has been fixed. Reported by R. Bruner.

Number Fields

  • A bug in some multiplications of ideals of orders of number fields in relative representation has been fixed.
  • A bug in the residue field mapping of some prime ideals of orders in relative representation has been fixed.

Polynomial Rings

  • A crash in factorization of polynomials over function fields of small characteristic has been fixed. Reported by F. Moeller.

Power Series

  • A leak in series inversion has been fixed. Reported by L. Taelman.

Series Rings

  • A fix to the check for Eisenstein polynomials containing zero coefficients has been made.

Sparse Matrices

  • A crash in sparse matrix addition has been fixed. Reported by M. Grassl.
