Extensions of Rings¶

• The LCM of ideals of number fields and function fields has been improved.
• The simplification of elements in relative extensions was wrong in rare circumstances, which could have produced wrong results in set based operations. Bug reported by M. Grassl.
• SwapExtension for rings produced an error when the smaller extension was defined by a non-monic polynomial.
• A problem coercing low precision elements into ramified p-adic fields has been fixed.

Graphs¶

• Assigning of zero labels has been fixed.
• An ambiguous signature match error when using Contract has been fixed.

Groups¶

• A group of order 962280 has been added to the perfect group database. Lower degree permutation representations have been found for 3 other groups. Updates supplied by Derek Holt.

Strings¶

• A check for overflow in cat has been inserted (bug reported by M. Grassl).
