Algebras

Commutative Algebra

  • A bug involving the reduced Gröbner basis when field polynomials are present has been fixed.

Groups

  • A bug in computing class matrices of permutation groups has been fixed. This bug may have caused character table computations to go wrong.

Interpreter

  • A small bug in package handling has been fixed.
  • The %h specifier for printf now works properly.

Rings and Fields

  • A bug in Integral for power series over the p-adics has been fixed.
  • A problem with IsIsomorphic for relative extensions over linear extensions of number fields that could cause an internal error has been fixed.
  • The generator of degree 1 extensions of the p-adics now returns a root of the defining polynomial.
